2012 Beijing 3nd International Erotic Ex libris Exhibition
Rules:
1. The competitor is required to send 3-5 different ex libris : 1 copy of each .
2. The main topic of the competition is “Erotic or Nude”, but other related themes ,such as mythology, bible story, music , portrait, are also acceptable.
3. The word “Exlibris “ or the mark of the ownership should be included in the plate.
4. The technique, the materials and sizes are not restricted.
5. The plates should not be mounted, but the application form should be applied lightly on the back of the exlibris. (Please find the application form as an attachment file).
6. The works should be signed according to international rules. We encourage artists submit their latest works. The type of plates, edition, and the year of its origin should be marked accordingly.
7. Artists are qualified for the exhibition will receive the catalogues. The certificate will be sent to qualified participants.
8.All participants are subjected to consent to the competition rules.
9. Deadline for submission: March 20, 2012
Prizes:
After the successful exhibition in 2009, we decided to set up 3 different prizes for this annual event. The prizes will be chosen by a jury consisted of five local collectors and artists in Beijing.
First Prize will have 2 winners, awarded $200 , a Certificate, and a catalogue
2nd Prize will have 3 winners, awarded $100 , a Certificate and a catalogue.
Participants Prize will be selected accordingly. Winners will receive a certificate and a catalogue
All the prizes will be sent by mail with optional of cash or money transferred by bank or Western Union Service.
All submitted art works will not be returned to the artists. Organizer is entitled to have the copyright of publishing the art works without any extra cost.
To avoid any loss of package, registered mail is suggested. We’re not responsible for any loss and damage during the shipping.
The exhibition will take a place in the beginning of April 2012, all information will be updated via website or blog.
